Control Freak

I have a terrible analogy for this.  

Knowing that God is in control and admitting that You are NOT, is like drying off after getting out of the ocean. 

Once you are finally dry, you are still sticky. Not only are you sticky, but covered in sand and salt. You can rinse off in one of those ghetto beach showers, but there is still sand in your fingernails, sandals,  toenails…you won’t truly be clean and rid of ALL the sand, until you are home.

Recognize and admit that God is in control of this situation. He will get you through this, He will get the other person through it. 

That is what it means to say ‘God is in Charge!’ All other efforts are futile.
